Just like he did against the Apsalus, Shiro runs up with courage and slashes Gineas, inflicting incredible damage. As for the initial attack, it doesn't matter whether you deal damage to Gineas or not, as long as Shiro is in the squad that attacks him, the slash cutscene will occur.

Stop Hwong's Anti-Satellite missile prepped to destroy the Strike satellite. Next, take out an Octad Airfield in the region to disable their ability to launch a counterstrike. Hwong's been running a forced labor operation in the region for years. Let's put a stop to this humanitarian blunder. Intel suggests that it's likely Hwong's forces will invade Yin Bi Island; destroy is Landing Ship Tank fleet before he can take it over. According to radar, four heavily armored missile frigates are heading south; stop them and destroy their docking grounds in the south west bay. Next, destroy Hwong's training ground and barracks for his elite units. Finally, capture Hwong's brother. He's located in the center of the island chain at one of the Octad's military bases. Intel suggests Hwong is hiding at a fortified oil field in the south. Find him and make sure you find out what he knows!
