The ABC book was written more than ten years ago by an international group of authors headed by Japanese linguist Professor Jiro Ikegami. The book's illustrations were drawn by Zinaida Vasilyevna Turmanova, a department Head of the Sakhalin Regional Art Museum.
This video features Parliament Hearing in the Soviet of Federation, October 2008. The hearings were devoted to preservation of traditional languages of Indigenous People. As a measure to do so, Sakhalin Energy issued an ABC Book of Uilta language.
