We see the NASA Goddard's LANCE MODIS Terra satellite mosaic of the northern ice sheet, starting at Sakhalin Island, and proceeding toward to the Bering Strait and over the northern coast of Alaska and Canada then down along the ice calving coast of Greenland. Over Quebec, we see the forty mile wide Manicouagan Crater which has been highly eroded by glaciation and is now a lake maintained by a dam. The flight path ends up over Iceland.
